Music BC is a non-profit society serving the British Columbia music industry through providing essential information, education, funding, advocacy, showcasing, and networking opportunities. The topic for the Kelowna workshop on Saturday, April 30th will be Modern Media.

With online media pumping out information at a rapid rate, it’s hard to cut through the noise and get your music into the ears of future fans. The focus of this panel will be analyzing what current forms of media are most effective for marketing acts. Looking at various demographics and how they interact with different mediums, we’ll explore how you can maximize your marketing dollars and think outside the box to make the biggest impact.

“We’re excited to be partnering with Music BC to present this workshop in Kelowna”, says ARTSCO’s Executive Director Katie Brennan. “Music BC brings a wealth of knowledge in the music industry that our local musicians can really benefit from”.

Local music man Vincent Jones will serve as the moderator for the panel, which includes Rey Roldan of Rey Bee Inc. (NYC), Andrew Huculiak of  Amazing Factory & We Are The City and Chantel Chapman of Holler for your Dollar.
