I started my artistic journey in my sixties as I approached retirement from a long career in healthcare. My preferred medium was acrylic on canvas, though I have recently started exploring oil on canvas and wood panel. I have come to realize that the more I learn, the more there is to continue learning. My work is inspired by the natural beauty around me, knowing that I am free to interpret in my own way. I am currently painting with the Kelowna Palette Club and have achieved Active Member status with the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA).
