Kelowna based artist and teacher, Carney Oudendag, has been working in mixed

major from the University of Calgary. Carney is a full juried member of the Alberta

Society of Artists and was selected as an artist in residence for Calgary 2012. She

has taught at the Kelowna Art Gallery, Leap Gallery in Vernon, Peachland Painter’s

Group and at Gallery 97. Art related activities include jury work, writing calls to

artists, mentoring and donating art to selected fund raisers. Carney is a volunteer

with the Lake Country ArtWalk committee and a participating artist. She is

currently working on a series of doors and abandoned buildings.
