» Alternator Gallery
The Alternator Gallery for Contemporary Art is the longest running artist-run gallery between Calgary and Vancouver. Incorporated in 1989, the Alternator is an alternative exhibition space in the Okanagan that provides a venue for unorthodox or controversial art that may not be exhibited in municipal or commercial galleries. The Alternator encourages emerging and mid-career artists making innovative and experimental artwork.
» Ballet Kelowna
Ballet Kelowna strives to develop and showcase young professional Canadian dance talent and to provide a nurturing, creative environment for Canadian choreographers. By assisting Canadian dancers and choreographers to hone their skills and expand their horizons, Ballet Kelowna will further enrich the vibrant Canadian Dance community as well as the developing dance communities of the Okanagan Valley and the British Columbia interior. Ballet Kelowna also seeks to broaden audience membership for dance by show casing Canadian dance talent.
» BC Interior Jazz Festival Society
Spring program of Jazz performances in Kelowna, which last year consisted of Instrumental Combo Performances, Jazz Band Performances, Music-related Workshops, Vocal Jazz Performances, and performances by Most Outstanding Festival Participants. Coming again in 2006.
» Central Okanagan Photographic Society
Members submit photos or slides for monthly contests, attend free workshops and register for extra seminars. Membership also entitles discounts with local retailers. Each month COPS judges print (film or digital) and slide submissions from three categories: Nature, People Portraits and Pictorial.
» Chamber Music Kelowna
Chamber music is usually instrumental - almost any mix of instruments - although it can also be vocal. There is no conductor to direct the proceedings. Chamber Music Kelowna is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to presenting the highest quality chamber music to Kelowna and area since 1979. It is operated by a volunteer board and committees, and presents concerts throughout the year.
» Duotone Arts Collective
Duotone is an idea. It is a locus of innovative thinkers who aspire to connect communities through art, music and people. More than just a festival, Duotone is a process of mass collaboration and on-going experimentation. The combined energy of the Collective results in an annual forum for social discourse and artistic realization, that is documented and up-loaded to a global audience. Duotone exhibits its global perspective on a local scale. By using technology to communicate across borders, new ideas are cross-pollinating from the Far East to the Middle West. Duotone brings together painters, print makers, photographers, video producers, hair stylists, fashion designers, sculptors and performance artists, as well as all varieties of musicians, organic and electronic. Duotone celebrates diversity and creativity on a daily basis.
» Federation of Canadian Artists - Central Okanagan Chapter
The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) is a not-for-profit organization, dedicated to the promotion and professional development of artists, and services for art collectors. The Federation is dedicated to its aim of gradually raising the artists' standards by stimulating participants to greater heights of achievement.
» Kelowna Actors Studio
Kelowna Actors Studio was established to enhance the Okanagan's cultural lanscape by offering high quality productions of Broadways most beloved shows, provide challlenging and enriching educational experiences for students of all ages. It includes a 170 seat dinner theatre, commercial kitchen, licensed bar, mirrored rehearsal and dance studio, as well as sets, props and costume workshops. It offers a full curriculum of classes for students of all ages, and provides comprehensive rental services for special events and meetings.
» Kelowna Art Gallery
The Kelowna Art Gallery, as the leading public visual arts facility in the Okanagan, exhibits, interprets, documents, provides education and collects visual arts for the citizens of Kelowna and their visitors. The 15,000 square foot facility offers three exhibition spaces as well as a classroom and studio area, where visitors can drop-in and create art. The Gallery serves the central Okanagan Valley with a variety of local, national and international exhibitions, and also offers a wide selection of public programs for all ages.

» Kelowna Community Concert Association
The Kelowna Community Concert Association is a non-profit organization of Kelowna citizens working as volunteers to present a professional concert series of classical, ethnic, folk and popular music, jazz and dance. It is run entirely by volunteers, receives no outside funding, does not solicit sponsors and has had a loyal following for 35 years in Kelowna. Only professional artists of international and national fame are selected; the consistent success of these concerts is based on presenting a variety of music, theatre and dance designed to have wide audience appeal.

» Kelowna Philharmonic Festival Society (Mozart Festival)
During its eighteen year history the Kelowna Philharmonic Festival Society has provided music soirees, open-air concerts, exploring and performing in various venues including wineries, children's concerts, free introductory concerts, the Kiwanis Mozart Festival Class and the 2000 Millennium Project. The Mozart Festival Orchestra, a fully professional orchestra, has, over the years, made a significant contribution to the festival and community.

» Mission Dance Centre
The Mission Dance Centre, created by Tanya Bakala in September, 2003, offers classes in Creative Dance, Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz, and Flamenco. The range includes recreational classes for children through to adults, a specialized Teacher's course and a program of professional classes. The Mission Dance Company is a semi-professional, Kelowna-based dance company specializing in the styles of Ballet, Modern and Flamenco. The Company's affiliation with the Centre is important for dancers who believe that their future might be in a professional dancing career.
» Okanagan Cultural Corridor
The Okanagan Cultural Corridor is a pioneering initiative mandated to identify, develop, package and promote authentic and sustainable market-ready, four-season cultural tourism experiences in the Okanagan-Similkameen region.
» Okanagan Festival Singers
The Okanagan Festival Singers is one of the foremost choral ensembles in the B.C. Interior, with biennial baroque performances of Handel's Messiah. In addition to two major concerts each season, the OFS has participated in a number of other events such as touring the Valley with Frank Mills for three of his Christmas tours, performing in the Kelowna Mozart Festival, performing in the annual Showcase of Choirs and participating in the recent Testimonies Holocaust Commemorative concert. Dedicated members attend weekly rehearsals in Kelowna.
» Okanagan Film Festival Society
The Okanagan Film Festival Society was created in February 1998 with the mandate to raise awareness and enhance the appreciation of Canadian films in the Okanagan community. It is a volunteer-based, registered, non-profit society. As a growing cultural event, the Film Festival enhances the Okanagan community by compounding the already burgeoning tourism industry.
» Okanagan Jazz and Blues Society
The Okanagan Jazz and Blues Society was formed in 1990. The society present frequent jazz concerts and blues concerts; and a festival in the fall. The society's aims are to nurture an appreciation for jazz and blues music in the Okanagan; inform and educate the public about jazz and blues music; and encourage and develop Okanagan jazz and blues artists. The society maintains a Web site and produces a quarterly newsletter for members.
» Okanagan Potters Association
The goal of the Okanagan Potters Association is to support new artists and to promote ceramic arts within the valley and beyond. To this end, they sponsor a number of shows and educational events. The biennial Kelowna Clay Festival draws participants from throughout Canada and the United States.
» Okanagan Society of Independent Filmaking
The Okanagan Society of Independent Filmmaking has been around in various forms since the late 1990's. A collective of filmmakers from a variety of backgrounds and levels of experience, it's mission is to provide support to independent film makers in the Okanagan Valley through: education, training, workshops, seminars and screenings;networking and communication, website, portfolio package, events and functions; and providing resources, equipment, library and film information and office resources.
» Okanagan Songwriters Showcase
» Okanagan Symphony Society
The Okanagan Symphony connects the passion of classical music to our community and fulfill our public mandate to educate, entertain and reach out to all generations. Besides providing concert series in Kelowna, Vernon and Penticton, the Okanagan Symphony Society produces a orchestral concert program for school districts in Vernon, Kelowna and Penticton with eight performances to a total of almost 7,000 students; presents pre-concert lectures in an effort to foster increased knowledge and understanding of symphonic music; developed and administers a student musician mentor programme; and adjudicates the Kiwanis Music Festival's Symphony Solo Class and engages the winner in performance.
» Rotary Centre for the Arts
The Kelowna Visual and Performing Arts Centre Society (KVPACS) is a non-profit organization operated by a volunteer board of directors that is responsible for running the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Established in 1994, the Society worked towards its mission to provide a "home for the arts". Through fundraising efforts, grants, and funds from the City of Kelowna, this dream has now becoming a reality with the completion of the Centre. It is designed as a multi-disciplinary arts centre, and a multi-purpose venue providing enjoyment of a wide array of activities including special events and festivals. The community can come and see artists and performers in action, and share in the excitement of strengthening and developing our cultural heritage.
» Sunshine Theatre Company
Sunshine Theatre Company is the only year-round professional theatre company in the Okanagan Valley and the only professional theatre company in Kelowna. Founded in 1977 as a summer theatre, it now features a winter season of three productions. Sunshine Theatre School offers theatre classes for children age 3 to 17, and adults. Artistic Director, David Mann, General Manager, Tim Watson.
» Viva Musica Society
Viva Musica was established in 1991 to provide a performance venue, primarily for Okanagan singers and musicians, both professional and non-professional. It produces high-calibre musical theatre and operatic works accessible to and enjoyed by a wide audience, and is committed to youth participation by developing technical training programmes for young artists and technicians.
